Qualification
10 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer earns points based on your speed and your streak. In the end, only the top 5 scores move on.
60s Sprint
One minute on the clock, as many questions as possible. Correct answer +1, wrong −1, you can skip for 0. The top 3 scores make it to the final.
Sudden-death final
Three players, three lives each. On every question, if everyone answers correctly, the slowest loses a life. The first to zero is eliminated, the last one standing wins.
Speed pays off.
Streaks reward you.
Answering correctly isn't enough: it's speed and consistency that build the gap. Every correct answer combines a fixed base, a speed bonus and a streak multiplier.
- Fixed base every correct answer counts, even at the last second.
- Speed bonus the sooner you answer, the bigger the bonus.
- Streak multiplier back-to-back correct answers push your multiplier higher.

What happens if I'm eliminated in phase 1 or 2?
Your game ends at that phase, but you still earn points based on your ranking. In ranked mode, your ELO is adjusted according to your final position.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. You can create a private room and invite your friends, or launch a public game to be matched with other players at your level.
Do I need to download the app?
No. Quizelo plays directly in the browser, or via the iOS and Android app for a smoother experience and notifications.
