Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Quizelo (the "Service"). By creating an account or using Quizelo, you accept these Terms in full.

1. Acceptance

Using the Service implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you don't accept any of the clauses, you must not use Quizelo.

2. User account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up.

• One account per person.
• You must be at least 16 to register.
• Accounts are not transferable.

3. Premium subscription

Quizelo Premium is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe. You can cancel any time from /settings; you keep the benefits until the end of the current period, with no prorated refund.

4. Fair-play rules

Quizelo is a competitive game. Any cheating attempt leads to immediate account suspension without notice or refund.

• No bot, automated script or third-party client.
• No answer-sharing or coordination in ranked matches.
• No buying or selling of accounts.

User content & chat

Team chat and usernames are user-generated content. You are solely responsible for what you post. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content (insults, harassment, hate speech, spam) and abusive behavior. Any user can report a message and block another player; messages are automatically filtered. We remove reported content and act on offending accounts within 24 hours, at our sole discretion, without notice or refund.

5. Intellectual property

All Service content (questions, design, code, sounds, marks) is the property of Quizelo or their respective owners. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Quizelo cannot be held liable for indirect damages or data loss linked to the use of the Service.

7. Termination

You can delete your account any time from /settings (immediate effect, GDPR-compliant). Quizelo reserves the right to suspend any account in violation of these Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
