Sales Terms

These Sales Terms govern any purchase made on Quizelo between Mehdi GRAR — sole trader doing business under the trading name "Quizelo" — (the "Seller") and any adult individual (the "Customer"). They complement the Terms of Service and prevail in case of contradiction on commercial matters.

1. Scope

These Sales Terms apply to any order placed by the Customer on Quizelo, regardless of payment method. The Customer acknowledges having read these Terms before validating their order; validation constitutes full acceptance.

2. Seller

3. Product and service characteristics

The only product Quizelo sells for real money is the Premium subscription. Other shop items (avatars, cosmetics) are unlocked solely with the in-game currency — points earned by playing — with no real-money purchase whatsoever.

  • Quizelo Premium: a subscription (monthly or yearly) that removes ads. It grants no in-game competitive advantage.
  • Cosmetics (avatars, skins): unlocked with points earned by playing — no real-money purchase is required or possible for these items.

4. Prices

Prices are listed in euros (€), VAT included. In the mobile apps, the prices charged are those displayed by the Apple App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.

  • Premium monthly: €1.99 incl. VAT / month.
  • Premium yearly: €15.99 incl. VAT / year.
  • Exact amounts and VAT may vary slightly depending on the store (App Store / Google Play) and the Customer's country.

5. Payment terms

The payment method depends on the purchase channel. On the web, payment is made by credit card via Stripe (card details are never stored by Quizelo). In the mobile apps, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or by Google Play, which act as sellers and are subject to their own terms. No order is validated until payment is confirmed.

6. Execution

The service is delivered as soon as payment is confirmed: Premium access becomes active on the Customer's account immediately. No physical delivery is involved.

7. Premium subscription and renewal

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly depending on the chosen plan). The Customer can cancel anytime: for a web purchase (Stripe), from the /settings page; for a purchase made via the App Store or Google Play, from that store's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. No prorated refund is owed in case of cancellation, except where the right of withdrawal has been validly exercised (see §8).

8. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to article L.221-18 of the French Code de la consommation, the Customer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract, by emailing contact@quizelo.app, using the standard withdrawal form, or by any other unambiguous declaration.

However, in line with article L.221-28-13° of the same Code, the Customer expressly waives their right of withdrawal upon validating the order, given that execution of the digital service starts immediately with their prior express consent. This waiver is materialised by the checkbox "I accept the Sales Terms and waive my right of withdrawal" displayed before payment. Without this acceptance, access to the service cannot start.

9. Statutory warranties

The Customer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Code de la consommation) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code). In case of a non-compliant service, the Customer can contact the Seller at contact@quizelo.app within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Refunds

For purchases made on the web (Stripe), any legitimate refund is processed by the Seller on the payment method used for the order, within 14 days of the Seller's decision. For purchases made via the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled directly by those stores under their own policies; the Customer must request them from Apple or Google.

11. Complaints

Any complaint must be sent to contact@quizelo.app with a precise description of the issue and the transaction reference (Stripe receipt for web purchases, or App Store / Google Play receipt for mobile purchases).

12. Consumer mediation

If a dispute is not resolved amicably, the Customer can use the CM2C mediation service — Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 14 rue Saint-Jean, 75017 Paris, France (cm2c.net) — free of charge, in accordance with article L.612-1 of the Code de la consommation. The Customer may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Sales Terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of French courts, subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
