Account deletion

This page explains how to delete your Quizelo account and the associated data, and what is erased or kept after deletion.
Delete your account from the app
Deletion is immediate and free, directly from the Quizelo app (iOS, Android or web):
- Open Quizelo and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap “Delete my account”.
- Confirm by entering your email address. Any active Premium subscription is automatically cancelled.
Delete your account by email
If you can no longer access your account, send a deletion request to contact@quizelo.app from the email address linked to your Quizelo account. We process requests within 30 days at most.
Data that is deleted
When you delete your account, all of your personal data is erased immediately and irreversibly:
- Identity: email, username, avatar, name and contact details.
- Authentication: Apple/Google logins, active sessions and passkeys.
- Billing: Premium subscription cancelled immediately at Stripe.
- Preferences and profile data linked to your account.
Data that is kept
To preserve the integrity of other players’ games, an anonymous technical identifier is kept, with no personal data attached:
- Anonymized match history (past scores and answers), with no link to your identity.
- Technical security logs, kept for 30 days at most and then deleted.
