Article 1 — Promoter

Mehdi Grar, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) registered with the French National Business Register (Registre National des Entreprises, RNE) under SIREN number 790 231 468, whose registered address is 136 rue de l'Église, 74970 Marignier, France (the "Promoter"), publisher of the Quizelo mobile application (the "App"), is running a free prize competition, with no purchase necessary, called the "Launch Challenge" (the "Competition").

Any question about the Competition may be sent to: contact@quizelo.app.

Article 2 — Nature and purpose of the Competition

The Competition rewards entrants on the basis of their activity and performance: winners are determined solely on the basis of a score (games played, active referrals and shares), in accordance with the scoring table set out in Article 5, with no element of chance.

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary, and the ranking involves no element of chance. The Competition is a genuine skill-based prize competition — winners are determined solely by their performance — and is not a lottery within the meaning of the UK Gambling Act 2005. The Competition is run in accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code). For entrants resident in France, it does not constitute a lottery or a game of money and chance within the meaning of Articles L. 320-1 et seq. of the French Internal Security Code, and falls under the rules applicable to promotional operations.

Article 3 — Duration

The Competition runs from 15 July 2026 to 15 September 2026 at 23:59 (Paris time) inclusive. Only points earned during this period are taken into account.

The Promoter reserves the right to extend, shorten, postpone or amend these dates under the conditions and within the limits set out in Article 13. Winners will be determined after the Competition closes and announced from 20 September 2026.

Article 4 — Eligibility

4.1. The Competition is open to any natural person aged 16 or over on the date of entry, resident in metropolitan France, Belgium, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, and holding a valid account on the App.

4.2. Entrants who are minors must have obtained the prior authorisation of their parent or legal guardian, both to take part and to accept and receive any prize, regardless of their country of residence. The Promoter may request proof of this at any time and, failing that, may disregard the entry concerned. A minor winner's prize is handed over in the presence of, and with the agreement of, their parent or legal guardian.

4.3. Entry is strictly personal and limited to one account per person. Creating or using more than one account per person is prohibited (see Article 8).

4.4. The Promoter's directors and employees, together with members of their immediate family living in the same household, are excluded from entry.

4.5. Entry implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules (see Article 14).

Article 5 — How to enter and scoring table

To take part, simply play on the App during the Competition period. Each entrant's score, which determines their ranking, is calculated according to the following table:

ActionPointsConditions
Completed game+1 point per gameOnly games played through to the end are counted. No cap on the number of games.
Active referral+10 points per referralThe referred person must sign up via the entrant's invitation and complete at least 5 games. No cap on the number of referrals.
Share from the app+3 points per shareCapped at +9 points in total (a maximum of 3 shares counted). A share is counted where the App link is shared via the device's native share function; the Promoter does not check or collect the content, destination or outcome of the share.

An entrant's total score is the sum of the points thus earned. The score and ranking can be viewed in real time in the App.

Shop points. So-called "shop" points (for example those credited under the "20 games = 4,000 points" offer) are an in-app currency, separate from the Competition. They are not included in the Competition score and have no effect on the ranking.

Entrants undertake to obtain referrals and shares only with respect for the people they approach (prior consent of referred persons) and in accordance with the terms of use of the third-party platforms on which shares are made.

Article 6 — Determining the winners

6.1. When the Competition closes, a general ranking is drawn up in decreasing order of score. The winners are the entrants occupying the ranks that carry a prize, in accordance with Article 7.

6.2. A separate "referral" ranking is drawn up based solely on the number of active referrals, to determine the "top referrer" (bonus prize, Article 7).

6.3. Tie-break. In the event of an equal score, the entrant who reached that score first ranks ahead (earlier timestamp recorded by the App).

6.4. Only scores properly earned in accordance with these rules are taken into account. The Promoter excludes from the ranking any fraudulent or non-compliant entry (Article 8).

Article 7 — Prizes

The prizes on offer are as follows.

The winner of the referral ranking may also appear in the general ranking and, where applicable, win a prize on that basis.

7.1. Prizes are awarded as described. They cannot give rise to any cash alternative, exchange for their cash value, or transfer to a third party, except with the Promoter's express agreement.

7.2. If a prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to replace it with a prize of equivalent nature and value.

7.3. Prize images are for illustration only and are not contractual. The brands mentioned belong to their respective owners; those owners are neither organisers, sponsors nor endorsers of the Competition.

7.4. Distribution platforms. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, nor associated in any way with, Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Those companies cannot be held liable for any claim relating to the prizes or the running of the Competition. These rules are made available within the App.

Article 8 — Fraud, disqualification and multiple accounts

8.1. Any use of more than one account by the same person results in the disqualification of all the accounts concerned.

8.2. The following are prohibited and result in disqualification: creating fake accounts or fictitious referrals; using bots, scripts, emulators or any automated process; manipulating games, referrals or shares; and any conduct contrary to these rules or liable to distort the ranking.

8.3. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out any relevant checks and to exclude, at any time and without notice, any entrant in the event of proven fraud or attempted fraud, without prejudice to any legal action. An excluded entrant loses all right to a prize.

Article 9 — Liability

9.1. The Promoter cannot be held liable for malfunctions of the network, the App, or entrants' hardware or software, nor for any event beyond its control affecting the running of the Competition or access to the App.

9.2. The Promoter cannot be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of prizes during delivery, nor for incorrect or incomplete details provided by the winner.

9.3. Entry implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the networks and technologies used.

Article 10 — Announcement and delivery of prizes

10.1. Winners are notified individually, from 20 September 2026, via the App and/or the email address associated with their account. Winners' names or usernames may be announced on Quizelo's social media and communication channels, under the conditions of Article 12.

10.2. Each winner has 15 days from notification to confirm acceptance of their prize and provide the information needed for delivery (identity, postal address and, for minors, the parent or guardian's agreement). After this period, or if the winner cannot be reached, or if the details are invalid, the prize is deemed declined and may be awarded to the next entrant in the ranking or cancelled, at the Promoter's choice.

10.3. Physical prizes are dispatched at the Promoter's expense to the address provided by the winner. Gift cards may be delivered in digital form. For winners resident in Switzerland or the United Kingdom (outside the European Union), delivery of a physical prize may give rise to customs duties and/or import VAT; to avoid charging these to the winner, the Promoter may, at its option, source the prize from a local distributor in the winner's country and have it delivered domestically. Otherwise, such charges remain the winner's responsibility.

Article 11 — Personal data

11.1. The personal data collected (in particular username, email address, activity data and, for winners, name, postal address and, where applicable, the parent or guardian's agreement) are processed by the Promoter, as data controller, solely to manage the Competition, draw up the rankings, contact winners, deliver prizes and communicate the results.

11.2. The legal basis for processing is the performance of these rules to which the entrant has agreed and, where applicable, the entrant's consent for optional communications.

11.3. The data are kept for as long as necessary to manage the Competition and deliver the prizes, plus any applicable statutory retention periods, and are then deleted or anonymised.

11.4. The data are not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. They may be disclosed only to the technical service providers involved in managing the Competition and delivering the prizes, who are bound by confidentiality.

11.5. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act — for entrants resident in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018; for entrants resident in Switzerland, the Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) — each entrant has the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of their data. These rights are exercised by contacting contact@quizelo.app. Each entrant also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO — ico.org.uk); in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr); in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Article 12 — Communication of results

12.1. By the sole fact of entering, each winner authorises the Promoter to publish their username and rank on Quizelo's communication channels, for the purpose of announcing the results, without this use giving rise to any right to payment.

12.2. Any use beyond this (name, image, testimonial) is subject to the winner's separate express agreement and, for a minor, that of their parent or legal guardian.

12.3. To comply with the UK CAP Code, the Promoter will make available, on request sent to contact@quizelo.app, the surname and county of the winners of the main prizes, for a reasonable period after the Competition ends. Any winner may ask that this information not be published, or that its extent be reduced; the Promoter will comply without this affecting the winner's right to their prize.

Article 13 — Amendment or cancellation

13.1. The Promoter may amend, extend, shorten, suspend or cancel the Competition only in one of the following cases: force majeure; lasting technical impossibility of running the Competition; large-scale fraud compromising the integrity of the ranking; a change in law or regulation, or a decision by a competent authority, rendering the Competition unlawful; a decision by a distribution platform preventing operation of the App.

13.2. Any amendment is the subject of an addendum to these rules, brought to entrants' attention within the App before it takes effect. No amendment may deprive an entrant of rights already acquired through their earlier participation.

13.3. If the Competition is cancelled, prizes owed to winners already determined remain theirs.

13.4. The Promoter is not liable for the consequences of an external, unforeseeable and unavoidable event. This clause does not limit its liability in the event of its own fault.

Article 14 — Acceptance of the rules

Entry implies unreserved acceptance of these rules and of the applicable laws and regulations. Breach of the rules results in the entrant's exclusion.

Article 15 — Availability of the rules

These rules are available free of charge throughout the Competition within the App and on the Quizelo website.

Article 16 — Disputes and governing law

These rules are governed by French law. For entrants resident in Belgium, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their country of residence remain reserved, and those entrants keep the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence where the applicable law guarantees them that right. Any complaint must be sent in writing to contact@quizelo.app within 30 days of the end of the Competition. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to the mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers.
