Article 1 — Organising company

Mehdi Grar, sole trader, registered with the French National Business Register (RNE) under SIREN number 790 231 468, with registered office at 136 rue de l'Église, 74970 Marignier (France) (the "Organiser"), publisher of the Quizelo mobile application (the "App"), organises a free prize game with no purchase necessary called "Creator Contest" (the "Contest").

Any question about the Contest may be sent to: contact@quizelo.app.

Article 2 — Nature and purpose

The Contest has two separate, independent standings:

  • a player standing, open to all participants, rewarding gameplay activity during the Contest;
  • a creator standing, reserved for content creators who joined the partner creator program (Article 6), rewarding the creators who generate the most activity.

Each standing has its own scoring and its own prizes.

Article 3 — Duration

The Contest runs from Friday 7 August 2026 at 6:00 pm to Sunday 9 August 2026 at 11:59 pm (Paris time). Only activity within this window counts. The player winner and the creator podium are revealed on Monday 10 August 2026 on the Organiser's social media.

Article 4 — Eligibility

4.1. The Contest is open to any natural person with a valid Quizelo account, except the Organiser. Minors must have their legal guardian's prior consent.

4.2. Participation is strictly personal. A participant may only compete with a single account. Automatically created accounts, bots and test accounts do not take part and score no points.

4.3. Taking part in the player standing is automatic: simply play games during the Contest.

Article 5 — Scoring (player standing)

Each completed game during the Contest, against real opponents, scores points based on the situation, without stacking (a game is worth only one of these values):

  • 1 point — for any game played;
  • 5 points — for a game featuring a Contest creator;
  • 10 points — for a game in which the participant finishes ahead of a Contest creator.

A bonus of 10 points per validated referral applies, i.e. per new user signed up via the participant's referral link during the Contest who has played at least 5 games.

Anti-abuse. The 5- and 10-point bonuses apply only in public matchmaking games. A game bringing together a creator and a participant who are friends in the App (e.g. a private invited game) does not trigger these bonuses and scores only the participation point.

Article 6 — Creator program and scoring (creator standing)

6.1. Any Quizelo account holder may apply to the creator program via the dedicated page. The application is validated by a confirmation link sent to the Quizelo account's email address. No minimum audience is required.

6.2. Once confirmed, the creator receives a creator avatar and ad-free (Premium) access to the App. During the Contest, their in-game avatar is a creator avatar and cannot be changed other than between the dedicated creator avatars. Creators do not take part in the player standing.

6.3. The creator scoring, cumulative, is:

  • 3 points per game played by the creator during the Contest;
  • 15 points per validated referral (signed up via the creator's code during the Contest and having played at least 5 games);
  • 1 point per game played during the Contest by any of the creator's referrals.

Article 7 — Determining the winners

7.1. The player winner is the participant with the highest number of points at the end of the Contest. In the event of a tie, the participant who played the most games wins; failing that, the first to reach the total.

7.2. The creator podium consists of the three creators with the highest number of points under Article 6.

7.3. Throughout the Contest, the player standing is shown publicly on a non-nominative basis, by progression groups, without revealing exact ranks or the identity of participants. Final standings are set after manual review (Article 8).

Article 8 — Fraud, disqualification and multiple accounts

The Organiser reserves the right to exclude any participant or creator in the event of proven or suspected fraud, in particular the use of multiple accounts, bots, collusion intended to generate points artificially, or any process contrary to the spirit of the Contest. Standings are subject to manual review before any prize is awarded.

Article 9 — Prizes

9.1. Player standing. The player standing winner receives an Apple Watch SE (indicative value ~€200 incl. tax). One winner only.

9.2. Creator standing. The top three creators share a cash prize: €200 for 1st, €100 for 2nd, €50 for 3rd, paid after verification.

9.3. Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted into cash, except at the Organiser's discretion in the event of unavailability (replaced with a prize of equivalent value).

Apple is neither an organiser nor a sponsor of the Contest.

Article 10 — Liability

The Organiser cannot be held liable for network failure, data loss, or any event beyond its control affecting the Contest. It reserves the right to shorten, extend, amend or cancel the Contest if circumstances so require, without incurring liability.

Article 11 — Personal data

Personal data collected (in particular username, email address, activity data and, for winners, name and postal address) is processed by the Organiser, as data controller, solely to run the Contest, establish standings, contact winners, award prizes and communicate on the results. Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), each participant has a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, exercised at contact@quizelo.app, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Article 12 — Communication on results

The winning participant and podium creators authorise the Organiser to mention their username and, where applicable, avatar, when communicating about the Contest results, without any right to remuneration. The Contest is not organised, sponsored or administered by TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Instagram or Meta.

Article 13 — Amendment or cancellation

The Organiser reserves the right to amend these rules or cancel the Contest, in particular in the event of force majeure. Any change will be published on quizelo.app.

Article 14 — Acceptance of the rules

Taking part in the Contest implies full acceptance of these rules.

Article 15 — Consulting the rules

These rules can be consulted free of charge throughout the Contest at quizelo.app/reglement.

Article 16 — Disputes and applicable law

These rules are governed by French law. Any complaint must be sent in writing to contact@quizelo.app within 30 days of the end of the Contest. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to the mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers.
